Photo of the Week – Aspen Forest

This time of year I day dream of hiking through the aspen forests in Colorado. We were lucky enough to hit the fall color a year ago and I’ve wanted to go back ever since!

I really miss Colorado. It’s been >10 years since I was there. Hopefully, one of these years the budget will allow for a trip back.

It is good that you have fond memories and wonderful pictures of the Colorado Aspens. With that said – this year (I live in Vail) was a disappointing year for the Aspens – a lot of them went straight from green to brown to gone. If you were going to miss a year, this would be it. We have had beautiful weather though, but I am ready for snow.
