One month. It is hard to believe that four weeks have passed since Anna joined our family and my life changed completely. The month of March 2011 will forever be remembered as a blur of sleepless nights and constant feedings. I felt like a mommy zombie for many days- leaving the house only a handful of times during the month and counting myself lucky to grab something to eat between feedings.

Now, a month later I finally feel like I am gaining my sea legs and am starting to find the new ‘normal’. Anna is granting us one 4 hour stretch of sleep at night, a massive relief after weeks of waking up every 2-3 hours. She is putting on weight like an aspiring sumo wrestler, and is now over 12 pounds. I am venturing back into the kitchen in short spurts and hope to be back in the swing of new recipes and posting again very soon!
